Training for job-specific skills is essential for improved productivity and professional service. Programmes currently running include:

• Management Development
• Specific training for previously disadvantaged employees. On completion of the programme, successful candidates receive the National Certificate in Transport Management.
• Study Assistance: our study assistance programme enables staff to participate in job related tertiary studies.
• Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET): a literacy and numeracy programme aimed at semi-skilled and unskilled employees.

• In 2010 we will repeat the success achieved in the “Fresh Learning” Management Development Programme, started in 2009. Twelve senior managers completed a seven month modular business school approach to learning with on the job assignments.
• Three Transport Logistics graduates commenced a two year management programme in January 2010.
• Two Industrial Engineering final year students from Pretoria University are using projects initiated at Fast ‘n Fresh Transport, as part of their studies.
